How was the experience connecting to the ftp server?

It sucks because it takes forever and i got connected sent my files but didnt see anything in the parent directory. I did everything and nothing showed up I dont know why. One thing to keep in my is to just send the files and disconnect quick because other people are fighting to connect as well.

How does flash improve my website?

Flash improves my web site for attraction. I think flash is pretty good in animation so i think people can say; oh cool animation! So they want to check out my website. Flash is creative with animation and animation is what amazes the people. It helps me out a lot because it can help me create buttons as well. Buttons are cool because their clickable and takes you to a link. People get bored just reading and reading so they can actually click on a button to see the cool animation you are capable of doing. In general Flash is really creative and it brings a lot of traction to your web site

How variables on the user's end appect the way your page looks?

When I opened my page with Internet Explorer and Firefox I noticed that in Internet Explorer it took really long to open up my page. And it dont open all images.

I just had to open Fireworks. Create new layer 700x100. Making a page banner for your movie. Type in the name of one of your favorite movies then you it. Customize any way you want it. Add affects, shapes, pictures, color, size etc. And when your done its gona come out with your movie when you post it up using html.

How do we make a name plate?

You open Fireworks CS3. Write your first name and last name on a new layer. On any size and any type of font. Customize your name plate by changing the color of the name pate, the color of the background. Add a shape, any shape from the shape toolbar. You can add spikes, make spyros, squiggly lines make shapes etc. You can even add stroke to your layer but i don't like adding stroke i just like the pattern!
